Visiting birder needs friends

Hi guys - I'm arriving in Dubai on 15 October or thereabouts and will need some company/transport/barfly support for a while. Any support, literal and metaphorical, would be much appreciated. Also, I now need 7 or 8 species to catch up to Dave on the 300 list as well as needing to regain my tan after wrapped-up days in freezing southern Sweden. Help! ;)
