Managed an hour this morning, met Mike and together we quickly found Reza's Thrush Nightingale. :D
I'd walked past the low hedges that lead to the closed gate earlier and seen no sign. On returning with Mike, I decided to give the bushes a "gentle nudge". I'd only walked about 4 feet when the bird shot out from the hedge on the other side and proceeded to give some really good views under the slightly larger hedges before completing a circuit and returning to it's original lair. Amazing how a bird can spend so many days (at least 4 now) in such a tiny hedge.
Also in the park:
1f RT Rock Thrush
1f Redstart
4 Red-throated Pipit
2 Yellow Wagtail
2 Common sandpiper
Didn't manage to find the Brahminy Starling, though.....:(
