I was surprised to see this hummingbird hawk moth this morning at Green Mub -- didnt know they were here in the summer. The other two photos of clearwing hummingbird moths I took last week in the US - had not seen them before.

I have seen one yestarday in Al dhafra hotel in jebel dhanna
is this common ?

Hi Khalifa -- they were pretty common in Al Ain in March on the wildflowers -- we saw a couple in the summer in Al Ain. I do not know if they are migrating or if they are residents. The UAE is at the very southern edge of the territory where they are found. - They are really fun to watch and pretty difficult to get good photos -- cheers - dave
