This afternoon, 4-15 to 5pm I was having a quick look at the waders passing through the RAKWS. I took 5 shots of a flock of almost pure formation of Curlew Sandpipers. I guessed there are 750 to 800 of them.
Would anybody dare counting them in these shots of the same flock, from one end to the other with c.5%overlap and almost equal % of misses as some birds were outside the tail-end pictures?
