Plum-headed Parakeet Day in Safa today 6.45 to 7.45am
18 Plum-headed Parakeet counted, possibly another 4 heard! Close to ladies park and parked Train cave! Got 6 in one shot!

1 Grey heron
4 female Shoveler
8 Mallards
8 Common Sandpiper
1 Green Sandpiper
6 L Grebe
8 B C Bee-eater
1 Shikra
1 Brahminy Starling in ladies park

how did you enter inside the park before 8 ? special approval ?

Thanks for your rersponse.
Kindly note I work under the dept of public parks and horticulture that manages all parks and the zoo in Dubai. So, i can get in anytime bet 6am and 11pm. This and other parakeets prefer all the tall trees along the border of the park, especiallly ones near the 1st gate parking lot that is opposite the ladies and children park, restricted for the men folk.
