Hey All,
Just to report the fastest snake I've seen in the UAE so far that I encountered in the Sharjah desert this Friday. My 2nd sighting in the deserts without a pic :( but gr8 to see they're about. Initially curled up in a desert shrub, it took off like lightning when I got close. I had no clue it was even there. Pretty huge fella too. :) Shall be back as I know his den now. He can run but he can't hide ;) A pic of his track and den is all I have (for now).
