unknown warbler at AA Fayda

this guy was in the reeds in the flooded area at Ain Al Fayda -- in the photos it looks sort of like a chif chaf (photo of chif chaf also from today at aaf) but in the reeds it didnt sound like or look like a chiffy - any thoughts?

Heavy cropping and poor lighting making it difficult to get much detail, Dave. Can you give a description? Any hint of green on it (esp primary edging)? Colour of super? How was the call different? May just be a Chiffy ssp, but any clues would be good.

Edit: Errrr.... unless I'm mistaken, isn't your "Chiffchaff" in the tree a Plain Leaf Warbler? That bill looks tiny and the forehead quite steep.
