This is surely not a centipede but looks like a caterpillar, possibly a grub, of a beetle
enclosing a map. Its my favourite OLD AL QUDRA LAKE
I found one Spotted Crake in Qudra Lake today. I have seen this one or another in at least past 4-5 occasions but could never get a shot but today.

Is it too early for the European Turtle Dove to be here? Today I found one among a small flock of other doves by the lakes behind Al Qudra Cycling round about with Al Qudra Clinic today.

Yesterday I was in Al Qudra Lake by mid-day and was there up to 3.30 pm
I have seen a few new dragonflies in the lake that I have not seen there before.
May I request all to help me ID these?
TodayI found few dragonflies that I have not seen before in the Al Qudra Lake in Bab Al Shams Desert of Dubai.
Need its id confirmation.

It was a terrible day. Very windy, cloudy and dusty in Hatta. Temp ranged from 17 to 23 Degrees C from 7.10am to 1pm.

4th January 2017 was misty upto 10am. It cleared by 10.30amwith clouds in the horizon. Temp. was from 16-degree C. to 22 deg. C by 10.30am
yes, it did and behaviour was unlike common snipe!
