Thread: Wadi Wurayah dragons & damsels

Hybrid View

  1. Default Wadi Wurayah dragons & damsels

Went to Wadi Wurayah for the first time on Saturday morning.

Some new species for me, although I'm not certain about all the IDs in my file-labelling. Anywhere near, Bob?

There was also a nice Blue Emperor Anax imperator but it wouldn't settle where I could get at it.

    Cheers

Just spotted a mistake. ID 10007 should be Arabineura khalidi - Hajar Wadi Damsel.

Looks like you've got them right to me. The Ischnura is an androchrome female; I'd venture evansi but need to double check the pronotum shape to be sure.

Finally checked my references, and I'll stick with Ischnura evansi.
