What turned out to be a very windy late afternoon did yield some dragonflies at the inlet end of the pools. We had quite a few female Selysiothemis nigra females roosting on the low bushes but only saw two males. Flushed male and female Orthetrum sabina along the reeds and also had a brief view of an Ischnura but not long enough to get species. Got a male Trithemis annulata roosting in a mesquite tree at dusk.
