Problems accessing the forum

Although it may not seem like it from the amount of drivel I post on here, I have been having quite a bit of trouble accessing the forum from time to time. The problem I encounter is the site is very slow to load and eventually yields a "Database error" screen. At the same time, the www.uaebirding.com home site loads without problem. It seems to be worse since the forum upgrade.

Is anybody else having similar problems?

Hmmmmmm.......it works very well from my side, from all over the world, from my MacBook Pro and Safari browser. I have no idea why it's acting up.
I will upgrade to version 4.1.8 as soon as I find a spare moment. Off to Islamabad tonight.

This is the first time in a week and a half I have been able to log on. I am not sure if it the website or the internet in the UAE in general. We have been having a fair bit of trouble, especially over the last week, with our internet connection.

This week I have been having lots of problems accessing the Forum myself. I have no idea why.
I tried:

entering uaebirding.com I got:
Server Load: ok
Services:

• 12/14/2011 07:50am: Our technician is currently investigating a server problem. The source of this problem is unknown at this time. The duration of assessing this is approximately 15 to 45 minutes.

I don't think its the website, I think its more of the connection in the UAE. After I posted the above, my internet died again and needed to shut down and restart. Has happened all week.
