Hi everyone
As per our timetable, we are getting ready to circulate the next batch of RBRs around the EBRC, namely all records from December 2011 to March 2012 inclusive (but feel free to submit anything still in need of an RBR from earlier than December 2011 as well; everything is gratefully received!): see here for a list of all reports needing an RBR before making it onto the national record. We would usually circulate records in the first few days of April but, as three EBRC members are away in early April (including myself, leaving tomorrow - which is why I am posting this now) we will not be circulating records until 15 April this time. For that reason, we will include any RBRs submitted up until about 10th April in this coming circulation - so you have a few extra days to send them in!
Please use the most recent RBR form which can be accessed here by clicking on the Download RBR link on that page. If you could use the file-naming system suggested on the form, that would be most appreciated as it reduces admin time on each RBR. Please note that clearly-photographed species generally need only basic details included (unless you want to add more) but note that if images are not available or are of reduced quality (due to distance, unfortunate lighting etc) then any extra detail you can provide helps to ensure that record is assessed speedily.
We hope to have decisions published towards the end of May for this batch; I will draw attention to this when we are ready to do it by posting on the forum in the usual way.
cheers and good birding
OSCAR
