Pivot Access Restrictions

Hi All,

I tried to access Pivots this morning for the first time in almost four weeks. I was quite quickly told at the gate that the manager had ordered them to not let any cars in for birding. I was not given any reason as to why this was the case, however they did say I could park outside and walk around the fields.

Has anyone else experienced this problem lately?

Hi Josh,
I think this restriction apply only for Fridays and after 5 PM. you can walk in but not the car as they on Holiday.

This happens in phases. Every now and then they get their knickers in a twist and they stop cars for a few days. However I had no problems on Sun and Mon. Khalifa is most likely correct, they sometime become difficult on Fridays....

Understandably, to be fair. Given that Friday is their day off and they often have a social gathering after Friday prayers, I suppose we shouldn't begrudge them a few hours off standing to attention, saluting birders and waving us through the barrier.

I have found exactly what Khalifa suggests - after 5pm most days and anytime after 10am on Fridays.
