    Hi all

Just to keep you updated, it tuned to be a sperm whale with around 14m length, we couldn't Identify the cause of the death nirther take the measurement since the tide was high when we reach there, tomorrow we will be burying it since the carcass is decomposed and the smell is too bad.

    Many thanks, Maral

    Dear all

Hope you are all doing well !

I thought of dropping you an early email in case you are interested in having a carcass of a dead whale for educational purposes, we received a report from the coast guard on Thursday about a dead whale floating offshore of Fujairah 30km away from the beach, the whale is 10m length and 3m width we have no clue about the cause of the death or even the species so far, yesterday we received another report from the coast guard saying that its more closer to the beach now 10km in front of Khour Fakkan, heading into north and might reach Dibba by today or tomorrow !

Once the Caracas is drifted to the beach we will be obliged to deal with the situation as soon as possible, so far we will be burying the carcass in the land field after taking all the required measurements and samples, in case of you are interested in burying the carcass in the desert to get the bones after one or two years, clean it and maybe use for one of your natural museums pleas dont hesitate to contact me.

Pleas take in consideration that the carcass might continue floating to the North to reach Sharjah Emirate or even behind the Emirate borders and then we cant do any thing, I can help just if the Caracas reach Fujairah beach's and according to a positive response from your side as soon as possible.

Feel free to call me on mobile any time if you want
    Thanks, Maral

We took these pics of the beached whale on Thursday afternoon, where it had washed up on Fujairah Port Beach area. Allot of polution in this area on that day and a storm or foul water drain discharging into the ocean, which can't be good.Click image for larger version
