Just a word about Nad Al Sheba Ponds. The main pond near the roundabout is mostly dried out but there remains a shallow swampy patch which is attracting a lot of interest from waders/shorebirds.
Birds are there in significant numbers but requires a good scope and an expert eye to sort out the less obvious species. Furthermore the light is usually quite difficult as the the observer is invariably looking into the sun.
