    Global Big Day 2017

    Hi Folks,

The event is on the 13th of May this year, as per last year, it would be great to see as many birders out there on the day so we can rack up a good count towards the global total.
Itís a good idea to try and cover as much of the country as possible, as this will help with diversity towards the count.
I havenít thought about my destinations yet, but I will make my plan in the coming weeks and Iíll stick it up on this thread.

    Cheers

A sad state of affairs if an app is needed to get birders out in the field....

And as it's on the 13th May, I'll submit my list now: Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler, Marsh Warbler,...........

Typically the last migrant of the spring; coming through in their hundreds.

If I get a marsh warbler on 13 May I'll be pretty happy. Not a common migrant in Hampshire!
