    100 up!

    Hi all,
I had a trip out to R'as Al Khor today, and had a nice couple of hours in the Mangrove Hide despite it being full of several bus-loads of tourists at various points...Fortunately they tended not to stay too long.

I had some nice views of the Greater Spotted Eagles silhouetted against the Burj Khalifa, a distant Glossy Ibis and a couple of Marsh Harriers. Bird of the day goes to the humble Great White Egret which is officially my 100th UAE species. A long way to go before I hit the magic 300 (if ever...) but I live in hope!

    Hi Tim,

Great records and sorry I missed you yesterday. 200 will come around soon enough, then it's onwards towards the magic 300, I still have a good bit to go myself!!
