    Academic City - 30.01.2018

    Even though I work quite close, it's a long time since I visited this little-known spot. A water-hole in one of the remaining desert-like plots close to the Universities and DESC.

    Graceful Prinia(Prinia gracilis).............................2

    Went back for a try at the Whitethroat. Backlight problems but I think the image is conclusive for "Lesser"
    Whitethroat to separate it from Common.

    No white eye ring, even-toned grey-brown back and wing, Blackish legs.

    Also on this occasion flushed 12 Common Snipe from the undergrowth between the two ponds.

    The White-tailed Plovers still to be seen as are the Wood and Marsh S'pipers.

    No Stints this time.
