Little Owl Species in the UAE

    in UAE bird sightings

Hi everyone I’m new to the group. I cover a lot of ground every week through the dunes and come across many types of wildlife. I’ve seen many owls out there and it seems there are two types of Little Owls, one is darker than the other. Are they different types or just darker feathers?

Welcome to us, Gary Please do report your sightings here 👍 The Little Owls needs DNA testing, the pale and dark ones are indeed confusing
