Having spent the years from 95-2012 in Dubai without any interest in birds I returned in May 18 and began spending many hours looking for nice bird images. I became a member of eBird fairly recently and have since submitted 27 checklists with 63 species. I know that could probably have reached a 100 or more if I'd had the ability to identify what was in front of me - hence my joining UAE Birding, which will hopefully improve my watching skills. Look forward to meeting some of you in a hide one day. Bob
