Hi All,

Went on a trek with DNHG members to Wadi Wurrayah for a day-long trek. Some of my finds/pics below. Unfortunately, my first 4GB memory card with over 600 images malfunctioned back home when I was trying to download the pics. Just heats up and the card reader doesn't recognize it. Below pics from a backup 2GB card that I took additional pics on. Anybody with any assistance on this? Much appreciated since I have more reptiles on the first card :(

Found an Oman saw-scaled viper (see pics)
Wadi racer (sighting only)
?Bar tailed semaphore gecko? (see pics) - extremely difficult to image between the rocks
?Jayakar's Oman lizard? (see pics)

Help with IDs much appreciated.....

Hi Ajmal
Quite rare in situ pics.
Your last 2 pictures seemed to be of Omanosaura cyanura, Blue-tailed Oman Lizard than Jayakar's Oman Lizard. You can see its picture in my post:http://www.uaebirding.com/forum/showthread.php?4303-Jayakar%92s-Oman-Lizard-Omanosaura-jayakari-in-Hatta-Dam. Jayakar's being the 2nd longest lizard after the Desert Monitor is generally devoid of blue when the BTOL has much of blue on the tail and specks on the body. Id of snake and the tiny lizard seemed to be ok. best wishes, reza khan
NB- Tommy might be interested to use your BTO Lizard pictures in the forum as he does not have any picture of it posted so far under photos of UAE Reps
