    Warbler ID needed

    in Identification problems

We saw this little warbler at Qudra lakes recently and the ID was dismissed as a Common Chiffchaf but im not 100% convinced. The wings extend much longer down the tail than the chiffchaff and there were no yellow on the carpal's visable. Any help will be appreciated. TIA.

William, this is an interesting bird for sure. I think I called it Reed Warbler on FB, but it's a Phylloscopus, and a brown one at that! Let's hear what Mark, Simon etc have to say :-) Any more images, please post
