    Which Wheatear?

    in Identification problems

My first ever Wheatear and of course I couldn't identify it myself so 'asked a friend'. He nominated Desert Wheatear, which BOTME agrees. I put this image here to perhaps help others with identification. The difficulty I had with the identification was the sun made the body and head of the appear pure white.

Whoops again. Assuming then it's a male Pied Wheatear?? If so I'll change my post on bird as well before forwarding to UAE Birding.
