    Birding during weekend .

    in UAE bird sightings

    Birding with friends in Dubai during weekend . Some good results produced inside deep deserts of Al Qudra.

    1.Pharaoh Eagle-Owl-2

    2.Little Owl - pale desert form-1

    3.Greater Spotted eagle-4

    4.Eurasian Curlew-6

    5.Greater hoopoe lark-6

    6.Spotted Redshank-5

    AND many commoners.

    Awesome results Vipin. The Redshank looks a bit on the Common side ;-)

    We get a lot of Spotted Redshanks submitted in eBird that are all this ussuriensis - subspecies of Common Redshank. European birders are not used to this kind pf plumage on Common Redshank, so it's quite understandable. That why I have set the Spotted Redshank filter limit in the UAE to 0 zero - to try to catch these birds.
