    26/4/19 RAKLH - Which Small Tern

    in Identification problems

    Probably either a 'Little' or 'Saunder's' Tern. Definitely a small one. I would plump for Saunder's because of the darker feet. Lucky to even get this image - so quick and agile.

    @Bob Davies Great article. Link added to the UAE page, thanks. Interesting to see the mention (again) of all black primary shafts of Saunders's Tern: some of our photos shows white shaft......
