I sighted this bird at Al Quadra on the Abu Dhabi Road going towards Abu Dhabi after Bab al Shams on the left side lake. Quite surprised to see it here. I believe it is a northern Red-billed Hornbill (Tockus erythrorhynchus) Please correct me if I am wrong. Could be a possible escapee? Are there any previous sightings? appreciate info please.
