Hi all, I'm sitting for weeks now and waiting, futilely, for the Water Rail! I thought, change the place and I did and lo and behold, there was at the other site, this wonderful Eurasian Woodcock, between Common Snipes! It was already, relatively dark, that's why, the pictures aren't good! Best regards a Happy New Year and especially great bird sightings the whole year! Peter
