Hi all, These images of gull and shrike from winter 2016 season. need assistance to identify them please.

There were plenty of Bank Myna's in the grass banks along the Ras Al Khor area today, 06/05/19.

Taken way back in Jan 2016. Ignored probably assuming as a Sparrow. Striated bunting?

Dear all, Recently I found out that the Green Bee-eaters found in this part of the world are subspecies named Arabian Green Bee-eater. Yet there are 2 types was found when i checked online. Merops cyanophrys and Merops muscatensis. So which one of these types are correct in UAE? or do we have both here?

Hi all, I was at Mamzar this morning for good couple of hours and nothing interested was found except for couple of Redstarts some Chiffchaffs and a lone Red throated Pipit. Need help for the ID of the little fellow (extremely sorry for the poor quality and that was the only shot I got). Black and yellow striped feathers and blackish face with yellowish head and body with the size of a white eared Bulbul. It was nice to meet Mr Greame Linglay and we were both hunting him without luck as soon as it flew away from the spot.

Spent a couple of hours at Mamzar Park from 10.30 AM - 12.30 PM .

Hi all, I assume this is a White Wagtail which are very common migrants to the country these days. But how does a White can be different with a Pied with an initial observation? As when I see the pictures of both the species I'm so confused to differentiate them.

Found these 2 almost together for sometime, chasing each other at times as well. Guess a Pied and a Desert .. Sharjah on 09/03/19

Are these migrants are White wagtails or Pied wagtails? or both are the same? or sub species?
