    in Identification problems

    Bird seen on Al Qudra area. Maybe Steppe E?

    thanks Tommy. It was close to the Al Qudra lake, I walked to some dunes behind and saw it sitting on top of a dune

    It is, Peter. I was tricked by the pale colouring. So, possibly of the fulvescens colour morph?

    Ok Peter, thanks for the feedback. I initially thought too it could be a GSE but the white tips on wings confused me. What are the key features made you conclude it was a GSE and not a SE?

    I can't describe it, but no doubt for Greater Spotted Eagle!

    Just experience, I see them almost daily, over the winter time!
