Dear all, I visited Dubai and Al Mamzar Park for the first time 1st Feb last week, and it was full of identifiable exotics, but wih a number of Scaly-breasted Munias and Indian Silverbills, there was 9 other exotics, which I gauged to be of the same species, and they were about 30% bigger than the Munias. The ones I guess are males are uniform deep dark pink (similar colour to some of the rosefinches of the Himalayas), while the ones I guess are females were uniform yellow with a slight greenish hue. Does anyone of you know what species is/are at play here? I couldn't find anything similar on your good checklists...... I haveno photo equipment, so sorry for lacking visuals.....
